Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Assalamu Alykum,
It is my pleasure to work with the Muslim community in New England as the thirty-third president. For the past thirty-three years, the council served the interest of the Muslim community and worked tirelessly to achieve its goals.
With the help of Allah, my predecessors made my work easier and helped in building the current success of the council.
Our members cut across geographical and ethnic backgrounds, and we continue to promote unity. We strive to build bridges across ethnicities through our activities that emphasize sisterhood and brotherhood in Islam.
One of the ongoing goals is to emphasize the role of nurturing future generation of leaders, they are our future in America.
Fatma Antar, President
Islamic Council of New England
